Governance token ($ADAO)
Voting power mechanics
Snapshots, lock multipliers, and delegation rules that turn $ADAO holdings into voting power.
Holding $ADAO gives you baseline power equal to your balance. Locking increases it, and snapshots make votes resistant to last-minute borrowing.
| Mechanic | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Snapshot | Balance is read at the block the vote opens |
| Lock multiplier | 1.00x unlocked, up to 2.00x at 12 months (preview values) |
| Delegation | Assign power to another address; tokens never move |
| Re-delegation | Takes effect for votes opened after the change |
These are preview parameters. Final values are ratified by the first governance vote.
